Stuck

Arcturius ran over to the body. "Any control over electricity," he shout/asked Almira, "A power to influence quantum mechanics? Some sort of tobacco?" He continued to shout things that could jumpstart the body. He put his ear to either sides of his chest. Arc materialized a syringe and primed it, holding it up to shoot it into his chest.

"No! I never got to learn things like that! I never had much time!" She looked around, thinking fast. ".....the river, eels? Electric eel? What about that? I don't know how electricity works!"

Time slowed down for Serak. Sensing the danger he burst from his hibernation and snatched the needle, ready to thrust it deep into his enemy. No....not his enemy. He was not Serak. He was Setsuna. He had locked himself away when the last remaining Serians had tried to return him to his submissive persona. Setsuna stepped back an tossed the needle to the ground

Arcturius jumped backwards. "Not dead then," he said obviously to Almira. "Now that that's been handled... Who the hell are you?"

Almira, who was on the verge of attacking, relaxed the tiniest bit when the man tossed the needle away. "No.....He was deadish. Like hibernation?" She looked at the man. "Hello, you are.....?"

Setsuna scanned the two silently. He knew the male. Arcturius. One of the legendary seven who survived his onslaught. One of the few beings who he believed was a truly good person. The tiger girl was a different story. "....you first..."

Arcturius muttered something and finally gave himself a good look of the room. "My gods ." He picked up a skull and felt like he was just slammed against the wall. "You killed all of them I presume," he said flatly, slightly agitated, "All of them. Slaughter?"

Almira looked proud again. "Almira Ailko, I'm an Amánipáus." She hesitated before offering a hand.

Setsuna responded to Artik in a cold, machine like tone. "They tried to take me away, to enslave me again. I did what I hade to do. I would not allow then to repeat what they had before."

Arcturius nodded, "Good answer. What did they do to you?"

Almira put her hand down and started observing the bones carefully.

"I am Setsuna Almeizar. You need know nothing else."

Arcturius accepted this. "But you know me, don't you?" He said this more of a statement and shrugged.

Almira just listened to them talk.

Setsuna studied Arcturius. "What gives you that idea?"

"Call it self-centered, but you never asked." He shrugged, "Well, that and the fact you have a reason to kill the sons of bitches. You must have been there that day."

"....."

"What day do you mean?"

"Our last stand against..." he gestured to the nearest pile of bones. "And their golden-boy."

Almira sighed and wandered off a bit to play in the freezing water.

"Golden boy?"

Artik shrugged. "I don't like using any of these names."

"You must mean Serak. I take it then you are one of the seven? Lets see....Arcturius....Elucidia Allister....Darten Tranrex.....I don't remember the other four..."

Arc nodded. "The former." He smiled coyly, "Not that you hadn't already known."
